Caesar Salad

This is a recipe that my husband’s friend taught me. He was about 35 then and was beginning to take some interest in cooking.

Now he is a very good cook (at home) and a househusband. His wife is a university professor.

I learned from them that “norm” or “typical” role of a couple is nonsense.  They’re a cool couple.

Originally this recipe was of a famous American cookbook called Betty Crocker. It takes only Roman lettuce, but the dressing is very tasty.

Because the name of “Caesar”, I thought it was created by Emperor Caesar. Actually, it was completely different. An Italian cook named Caesar in California made the recipe. Oh well. Well, Emperor Caesar probably didn’t make salads… I guess.
