Ingredients

  • 1 bunch Asparagus (about 10 pieces)

  • 1/2 cup Shredded cheese (cheddar or mozzarella)

  • salt and pepper

  • olive oil

Directions

  • Clean asparagus, removing the grit (triangle shape leaves) with a vegetable peeler. Heat oven to 350 F degree.
  • In a flat pan, put the asparagus and boil in a salted water until tender (do not overcook). Drain.
  • Place the asparagus flat in a flat oven safe dish (Pyrex). Put shredded cheese over the top and salt pepper. Add some olive oil.
  • Bake in a oven (or a toaster oven) until the cheese is golden brown (15 to 20 min).

Notes

  • Cheese can be swiss, mozzarella, cheddar and mix of these.
