When our children were about 4 years old, I often served boiled broccoli to them.
One day I decided to wash the removable pillows that cover the dining room chairs. What I found under the pillows were dried broccoli that looked like pressed flowers.
My daughter didn’t like broccoli and she kept hiding them under the pillow. Darn! I was totally convinced that she loves broccoli seeing her empty plate.
If I had served broccoli with this cheese sauce that time, my white dining chair cushions could be saved. Ah!
