Ingredients
1/2lbsAhi sashimi grade
1/2avocado
2TBSlemon and lime juice combined
1tsphoney
1tspSoy sauce (Japanese)
2TBSExtra virgin olive oil
1/3tspWasabi (tube kind)
salt and pepper
Green onion for garnish
Directions
Prepare Ahi removing any white vain from the meat with a spoon. If Ahi is without any white vain, chop up small. Place it in a bowl and set aside.
Dice avocado about 1/3 inch square and put some lemon for preventing changing colors to brown.
Make tartare sauce: Mix lemon/lime juice, honey, wasabi, soy sauce, sa and pepper and oil.
Add the sauce in the ahi bowl.
If you have a round cake ring mold, use that to shape the tartare. If not, put in a clear container. On a plate place the mold and pack the ahi mix and then add avocado on top. Keep it in the fridge until you serve.
Remove the mold slowly. Garnish with green onion. Add crackers or bread slices.
