Crispy Tuna Curry Wanton

This dish is popular at parties, but very easy to make it.

I put curry flavored tuna mixed with mayonnaise and shredded cheese in Wanton skins and fry them.

They are crispy and everyone loves it.

Ingredients

  • 1 small tuna can

  • 1 TBS Mayonnaise

  • 2 TBS shredded cheese (cheddar, etc.)

  • 1/2 tsp Curry powder

  • Salt pepper

  • 1 cup Frying oil (avocado oil etc.)

  • 1 package Wanton skin (thawed out if frozen)

Directions

  • Make curry tuna mix: Drain oil or water from tuna can.
  • Mix all ingredients in a bowl - tuna, mayonnaise, curry powder, cheese, salt pepper.
  • Prepare wanton skins: Wanton skins are stuck in one piece. Peel one by one.
  • Wrap tuna mix in wanton skins (as seen the photos below).
  • Add oil in a pot, heat over med high. Fry wantons until crispy.

Notes

  • If you would like to make wantons in advance, you need to freeze them. (otherwise it gets soggy and not able to fry them well)

    手軽に美味しくできました。
    ツナ、チーズ、カレーの相性もいい感じです。
    中の具をたっぷり入れたので10個しかできなかったけと、たくさん作る時は少なめにして皮のカリカリ感を楽しむのもいいですね。
