Goat Cheese Honey Dip

I got this recipe from a friend’s wife in Virginia. It’s a super quick appetizer with only a few ingredients. And delicious! I personally think this recipe really showcases the goat cheese taste.

Goat cheese is a bit tangy by itself, but if you combine it with honey, you taste the great marriage of sweet and sour.  It’s a great combination.  Since both goat cheese and honey are smooth, add some nuts like candied pecans,  walnuts, or the like to make it more interesting.  If nuts are not available, honey and goat cheese alone are good too. The key for the success for this recipe is the temperature of the goat cheese. It needs to be lukewarm. You can heat it up in the microwave but be careful to not overcook.
