Meatloaf for One

Meat loaf recipe is like a hamburger steak recipe. Meatloaf is usually baked in the oven, and has a firmer texture than a pan fried hamburger.

I like “meat loaf” because it looks more “dinner-like dish” than hamburger.

This one is a “one person” meatloaf.

Ingredients

  • 1/2 pound Ground beef (or mixed with pork)

  • 1/3 small onion (diced)

  • 1/4 cup Panko (bread crumbs)

  • 1 egg

  • 3 TBS Milk

  • salt Pepper

  • Parsley, garlic powder, parmesan cheese (optional)

Directions

  • Dice onion and cook in a frying pan until tender. Cool.
  • In a med size bowl, put ground beef, onion, egg, panko, milk, salt and pepper (if you have parsley flakes, garlic powder, and parmesan cheese, add). Mix well.
  • Shape two meat loaves. Place them in a oven safe plate and bake 350 degree oven until done. (about 20 min)
  • Add BBQ sauce (see the recipe below) or eat with your favorite sauce.

Notes

  • BBQ sauce: Mix the following ingredients and cook a few mins. Ketchup, Worcester sauce, Dijon mustard, brown sugar, apple vinegar, Soy sauce, salsa (if available).
