Puttanesca is originated in Naples. It is made from black olives, capers, anchovies, garlic, and tomato sauce. It is a very easy sauce, briefly cooked, and is very tangy.

This recipe uses already prepared tomato sauce.
Ingredients
1/2cupprepared tomato sauce (recipe below)
2TBSolive oil
1TBScapers (drained)
1tspAnchovy paste
2TBSsliced black (or green) olives
1/4packagespaghetti (for 2 people)
1clovegarlic (diced)
Directions
Boil water and cook spaghetti (1 min less than instructed on the package). Keep some of the spaghetti water.
In a medium sized pan, heat olive oil and add anchovy paste and garlic.
Add capers, olives and tomato sauce. Mix well.
When spaghetti is ready, Take spaghetti and put it in the sauce. Keep cooking for one min. If it is not saucy enough, add some of the spaghetti water.
