Stuffed mushrooms are a great appetizer that can be made for meat lovers or vegetarians. They look like restaurant appetizer but actually so simple to make. It’s warm and mouthwatering.

Ingredients
8 - 10Mushrooms
1-2slicesHam
2TBSCream cheese
1TBSOnion
1tspPanko (bread crumbs)
Salt pepper
1-2TBSShredded cheddar cheese
Green onion or parsley
Directions
Preheat the oven to 350 degree. (If you are using a small toaster oven, cook longer.)
Clean mushrooms, remove the stems and keep them.
Dice the stems, ham and onion. Cook in a oiled flying pan until tender.
Add cream cheese and cook until cheese is melted. Add Panko and salt/pepper. Remove from the heat.
In a Pyrex dish (oven safe dish), place mushrooms upside down. Using a small spoon, put the cheese mixture in the stem hole.
Sprinkle shredded cheese on top of the mushrooms and bake in the oven about 15 min until the top is golden and mushrooms are tender. Garnish with parsley.
Notes
Use medium to large size mushrooms. Ham can be substituted with sausage or bacon. Cheddar cheese can be Parmesan cheese or any other shredded cheese.
